Showing up on time, being ready and finishing the job are all important, but giving you a sense of trust and a worry-free experience is what matters most.

I don’t just play music for my own enjoyment, I build a party. When their feet start moving to the drums, that’s when it becomes contagious until everybody jumps in.

My only agenda is to create an opportunity to have a good time. The people in front of me are a mystery that I solve as the party goes on.

The beat of the drums matches the rhythm of our hearts. Sounds carry us through our lives. Lyrics echo and reveal our deepest thoughts. When we dance together, we move together. Each having a unique style, in sync like trees in the wind.

Playing music for crowds creates an addictive feeling, knowing I could control the atmosphere in a room and bring other people into an experience with me. There is a vulnerability in building trust with people and leading them on a journey, but the human factor makes it exciting. When they accept what I give them and love it, it’s the best feeling ever.

When we’re on the dance floor, everybody comes there with something on their minds. Work stress, relationships, whatever just happened right before. If I can help them forget what’s going on, and get caught up in the moment, then I’ve done my job.
